Jing Tao | Corporate Rescue and Recovery Expert
The author of《Corporate Turnaround in China: Navigating Crisis, Restructuring, and Resurgence》

Mr. Jing Tao is the core leader of our corporate rescue practice. With a unique cross-disciplinary background, his career began in neuroscience research, which shaped his distinctive perspective of the "corporate as a living organism"—viewing enterprises as organic entities that experience growth, aging, and pathology.

Based on the systematic methodology outlined in his book Stabilizing the Critical, he has developed a unique "Management Philosophy for Corporate Turnarounds" and a "Seven-Element Rescue Framework." He is not merely a strategic advisor but a hands-on practitioner capable of stepping into crisis situations as a "chief surgeon" for distressed enterprises. His core competencies include:

  • Rapid Diagnosis: Precisely identifying the root causes of corporate decline in minimal time, rather than addressing superficial symptoms.

  • Crisis Stabilization: Expertise in emergency cash flow management and business downsizing to secure a critical window for recovery.

  • Systematic Recovery: Driving sustainable revival through leadership reconstruction, strategic refocusing, and organizational transformation.

Mr. Jing’s integrated Eastern and Western practical experience—deeply understanding the challenges of Chinese private enterprises while mastering systematic rescue methodologies from mature Western markets—makes him one of the few experts in China capable of executing corporate rescue and recovery in a structured manner.

Wo Qian | Chief Organizational and Governance Advisor
The "Ferryman" of Corporate Culture and "Architect" of Organizational Health

Ms. Wo Qian’s career began with a pursuit of "fairness and justice." Aspiring to become a judge, she studied International Economic Law at the University of International Business and Economics. This experience instilled in her a rigorous logical mindset and profound respect for rules and governance. However, after personally experiencing the collapse of an early-stage startup due to equity and profit-sharing disputes, she shifted her focus from the grand narrative of "righting wrongs" to the micro-practice of building healthy internal corporate order.

Her unique value stems from three key hands-on experiences:

  1. The Entrepreneur’s Pain: As a co-founder of the recruitment website "Career Insider," she witnessed rapid growth from scratch but also endured the failure of a startup due to lack of governance mechanisms and founder relationship breakdowns, giving her deep insight into the challenges of entrepreneurial ventures.

  2. The Discipline of Large Corporations: Her tenure at Coca-Cola provided her with systematic exposure to the robust operational systems and strategic execution discipline of world-class enterprises, helping her understand the management logic of scaled organizations.

  3. Human Insights from Executive Search: As a "ferryman" for C-level executives, over a decade of high-level recruitment allowed her to witness countless career successes and failures, culminating in her core belief: "Culture makes or breaks success." She understands that even the most perfect strategy will fail if it does not align with the "people" and "culture" of an organization.

Her methodology integrates rationality and philosophical insight:

  • Organizational and Cultural Diagnostics: Leveraging her expertise in psychology, organizational behavior, and Eastern systemic thinking to assess organizational dynamics and cultural health.

  • Governance and Trust Building: Specializing in designing dynamic founder relationship management, equity incentive mechanisms, and corporate governance structures to prevent internal fractures at their root.

  • "Always Plan B" Resilience Building: Developing talent pipelines and contingency plans for key positions to enhance organizational risk resilience.

As Mr. Jing Tao’s junior fellow student at the National School of Development at Peking University, Ms. Wo Qian complements the "soft" aspects of his systematic rescue methodology with her profound insights into human nature, culture, and corporate governance. She ensures that corporate recovery is not only financial and strategic but also organizational and cultural, building lasting immunity for enterprises.
